Day 34 - Feb 3

  1. A couple observations to make for today...

    1. made it to my cousin's scale and I've lost exactly 10lbs! Woohoo!

    2. I had my first "unclean" meal tonight. Let me first say, it was delicious! We went to Dine Out Vancouver at Fishworks. Let me say secondly, I'm definitely feeling the side-effects now (some stomach cramping, ect). This is more of a good thing than a bad thing. It is a reminder that dairy/wheat/sugar have a bad impact on my body and are not something that I should be partaking in on a regular basis.

    Meals:
    1. beef/yam hash, two fried eggs

    2. veggies and baba ganouche

    3. coconut chicken curry, kiwi

    4. almonds, apple

    5.
    a) tuna taco (tuna, avocado, mango) in a hard-shell tortilla with a mixed-green salad. I had one bite of the tortilla and I wasn't the least bit interested in eating any more of the tortilla so I just had the filler.

    b) seared scallops, root veggies - so yum!

    c) white chocolate raspberry cheescake - this was the evil! :)

    d) a tiny chocolate "amuse-bouche"

    Overall, this wasn't that "bad" an unclean meal and I think it was a good experiment for me. I'm hoping that the side-effects don't last too long.

    Back to clean eating tomorrow!

  2. oh and I forgot to mention...

    Got my haircut today and my hairdresser said that my hair looked awesome and my skin looked really great too. And I didn't even prompt her! :)

    And interesting to hear about how you felt after indlulging. sounds pretty delicious though :)

    1: omellette, sausage, fruit, coffee (hotel buffet)

    2: banana, almonds, salad w/veggies, evoo, lemon juice

    3: carrots

    4: beef tenderloin w/roasted beets & veggies - YUM

    5: orange, dates

    My body & mind are so out of wack dealing with this time difference! I am eating way too much fruit & nuts :(
