1. yam and beef hash with 2 fried eggs on top (deja vu??? :) )
2. smoked salmon, celery and carrot sticks, almonds, Chai Tea with soy (first time trying soy - not too bad)
we had people over to watch the superbowl. It was the usual food selections but I made some smart choices to "prepare" myself for the event. I made sure to eat a good meal before the game started, so I wasn't tempted to just eat for the sake of it. I tried a couple of the selection of appies but kept my samples to a minimum. Another interesting observation I made was that the crappy junk food just doesn't taste as good as I used to think it did. This is awesome! i would taste it, realize it's not worth eating and then not waste any more time with it. I'm definitely feeling like less of a slave to mindless eating.
